I began seeing Dr. Patel virtually a few months ago. Had been dealing with chronic “gut issues” for at least a decade (along with many seemingly related ailments) and finally feel like I am making progress in just a few months because of his treatment plan. It has been a refreshing experience contrasted with the countless doctors I’d seen previously who were not nearly as helpful or easy to talk with. Dr. Patel took time to explain what he was thinking regarding my symptoms and my treatment plan and was open and flexible when I tried supplements that didn’t seem to agree with me. I now feel like I am in the middle of healing and I have more hope for my well-being in the future than I’ve had in a very long time. Also, Shelli, the person in Dr. Maura’s office who handles the scheduling and tests has been very helpful and always communicates quickly and efficiently. This is also rare in my experience dealing with Dr.s’ offices.

Before working with Dr. P, I genuinely believed my issues were things I’d just have to deal with for the rest of my life. I’ve always had fairly normal lab results, but still felt as though I was struggling day to day. This was the first time I felt I had been taken seriously. We have tackled so much in such a short amount of time and I’m excited to see continued progress. Can’t recommend Dr. P enough!

My daughter and I have been seeing Dr Patel for about a year now. I had chronic bursitis issues and she had major gut issues. He does a great job explaining how he comes up with treatment plans and how to get to the bottom of actual problems. He’s not in it to keep you on meds and tests forever, he wants you to heal and continue living a healthy life. We have both healed and now I am approaching him again to understand my hormones given that I am approaching that perimenopause time in life. The best part of Dr Patel is he doesn’t let you go down a rabbit hole of social media craziness but rather guides you to a common sense approach to your problems . I recommend him to everyone!!

I have been seeing Dr. Maura for years now and I can’t say enough great things about her! She has completely healed me of my skin issues that I have been battling with for a very long time. What I love about her is that she takes the time to listen to you and genuinely cares for your well-being. Dr. Maura is great. I was fed up with the conventional mode of health care and wanted a doctor who really took the time to help me get to the underlying cause to some of the symptoms I was having. Dr. Maura sat and spoke with me for an hour, which was followed up with doing a comprehensive blood panel and acid test. She also gave several resources (books, articles and fellow colleagues recommendations) to further help me. After getting the results, we had another hour long conversation about all the different recommendations to heal (supplements and different therapies) I’ve been following the protocol and I’m feeling the best I’ve felt in years!
