Dr. Maura truly helped me a lot during the transition of quiting birth control pills (post birth control syndrome) and thankfully I had no undesired side effects of quiting birth control pill such as painful periods, or acne which was the case for me when I tried to quit birth control pill by myself before. She really knows the importance of hormonal harmony! She carefully checked my blood test results each time I visited her and she provided just enough guidance and supplements/herbal medicine to support and keep my balance. I truly appreciate her help and recommend her specifically who has concerns about quiting the birth control pill/ or post birth control syndrome.

Dr. Patel is a breath of fresh air. I have been suffering with many chronic health concerns and after 12 years of issues, this is the best I've felt. He is patient, compassionate and knowledgeable. Although we still have more work to do, I would recommend Dr. Patel to any of my family/friends in a heartbeat! As a nurse, I learn a lot from him and love getting tidbits of education throughout our appointments. If you're thinking about it, just do it

Dr. Maura has been an incredible doctor for me, and I have immense gratitude for her work and support to help turn around my health. She is one of the best doctors you can find. I started working with her about a little more than a year ago, after dealing with a whole host of health issues that had me in a place of struggling to function on a day-to-day basis. Prior to our first meeting, I was in so much discomfort and pain that I couldn't keep up with my kids, I was struggling with getting through workdays and I couldn’t exercise at all. I had been bouncing from one doctor to the next, in complete frustration with the lack of answers, support, knowledge, and the reality that I was not improving. I was also dealing with numerous side effects from high dosed prescribed medications. Dr Maura is an expert, by far the most intelligent and thorough doctor I have ever worked with, and I have worked with a lot of them. Her comprehensive approach in testing and treating over the last year has been a life changer for me. I have never felt better, and my health has dramatically improved since we started working together. I have gone from barely functioning to being back in the gym, exercising every day and now running with my kids. Her knowledge, expertise and access to specialized testing and utilization of regular bloodwork has been so helpful to understand what is happening, to identify issues and to fix and optimize the issues and different levels as needed. While working with a functional medicine/naturopathic doctor is not covered by insurance, the majority of my bloodwork has been covered, and she has done well to help that. Dr. Maura has gone above and beyond for me in becoming my primary doctor and her office staff (Shelli) is always helpful and friendly in communicating, scheduling, getting lab forms. My wife is now a patient, and I have referred numerous friends to see her and her practice as well.

Once I got off of hormonal birth control after being on it for 10 years I experienced some serious adult acne along with chronic fatigue and all around hormonal imbalance. I knew traditional medicine specialists would only recommend I got back on the pill or for me to start medication, so that was when I found Dr. Lieb. I’ve had about 5 visits with her thus far and the symptoms I was experiencing months ago have seriously improved. Utilizing a variety of tests has definitely prevented the guessing game and provided me with real results to go off of. So happy I chose this route and would recommend anyone experiencing similar issues to see Dr. Lieb!

I have been working with Dr. Maura since January 2024 to find relief from chronic perioral dermatitis. Her mission is to find true healing for her patients, rather than band-aid solutions and that's what she's done for me by helping me find relief for my skin issues. Working with her so far has been life changing for me. For three years I went between my dermatologist and allergist trying to figure out why I was breaking out in rashes on my face. I took blood tests, prick tests, patch tests to check for allergies, food intolerances, autoimmune diseases, viral infections and not getting any real answers on what was triggering the rashes on my face. After 2.5 years I finally got the diagnosis of perioral dermatitis from my allergist, but I was just prescribed allergy meds, ointments and steroids that felt like it was making my situation worse and not getting to the heart of the problem. I started looking into Naturopathy because I knew something else was going on and I wanted someone to have a real holistic look at my health. From the moment I reached out to Dr. Maura's practice, it was a transparent and open conversation. The first appointment she listened to what I was going through and where I've been, and asked questions about my general health. She took a look at my past lab results and pictures. She felt confident we could get me to.a path to healing and that made me feel confident too! She then recommended some additional labs to get an overall look at my health. They were mailed directly to my home and were easy to perform. The second appointment we went over the lab results which showed I was having gut issues that possibly were effecting my skin. She prescribed me a treatment plan which was a mix of supplements and diet for six weeks. My third appointment we discussed the results and I was soo happy to have had six weeks of no face inflammations by following her plan!! After three years of struggle I had found relief in under six weeks! Before they even booked my first appointment they were upfront about costs for each appointment and estimated costs for labs and meds, so there were no surprises at any point in the process. Dr. Maura works with Fullscript for the prescription plan if you have any needed supplements, and they were delivered right to my door and I had the option of auto-refills. If I had any questions as I was waiting for my next appointment, Shelli who is the practice manager, was really quick to respond to my inquiries through email. In addition to having relief from my rash outbreaks, I feel healthier than I have in ten years! I lost weight that I needed to lose, I am sleeping better, and my overall mental health is better. I cannot recommend Dr. Maura enough and am looking forward to continuing working with her.

My health was in a downward spiral for more than 2 years and I was desperate for help when I set up my appointment with Dr. Patel at Dr. Maura's office. I tried every treatment recommended to me by my primary care doctor before seeing him - upper endoscopy, PPI’s, abdominal scans with no answers. I had so many rounds of blood work done with little to no explanation. I was at the point where I was hardly eating when I had decided to try naturopathic medicine. Dr. Patel was the first doctor to help me resolve any of my gut/thyroid issues and helped to get me on a plan quickly to restore my body to a normal state with the natural help of diet and supplements. He was the first person who made me feel like there was hope. Our first virtual appointment was an hour long and we went over everything I was experiencing and how we could resolve it. I shared with him recent blood work and he gave me very thorough explanations of my labs. He recommended stool testing at our 2nd appointment and we covered all of those results in detail as well. Found out that I had H. Pylori, Sibo, and a few other issues, so we quickly reacted and resolved within a few months. It’s been a little more than a year now and I am happy to say I’ve made a lot of progress. I would recommend Dr. Patel to anyone who is struggling with gut/thyroid issues. He will help you understand the whole picture and will carefully recommend ways to resolve whatever you are experiencing health wise. All of my appointments were extremely positive and I left each one very optimistic. Such a different experience from any of my other Dr. appointments in the past.
