I started working with Dr. Lamoreux to get to the bottom of some ongoing gut issues and low energy that I couldn’t figure out despite seeing a few other doctors. He took the time to really dig into my labs, diet, and lifestyle, and helped me understand what was actually driving the problem. Within a few months, my digestion and energy were completely different—I feel like myself again. He’s thoughtful, knowledgeable, and easy to talk to. Highly recommend if you want someone who actually looks for the root cause instead of just masking symptoms.

Dr. Kellie has guided me through a 3.5 year health journey, and I couldn’t have asked from God/The Universe a better coach, personality, doctor, professional, and soul to be there with me every step of the way. She dove deeper to the root(s) of my issues more than anyone doctor I’ve worked with, and I stand here today in MUCH better health with more vitality and life than I’d have in 10 years. She is patient and warm as well as incredibly knowledgeable with a passion for continued growth and research to benefit doctor and patient alike. I will follow Dr. Kellie where ever she is as long as she will have me! I truly believe and know she helped me get my life back to keep up with and enjoy my two small children!

I can’t recommend Dr.Patel enough!! He is kind, caring, and extremely knowledgeable. He has helped me treat and manage my GI issues better than any other doctor I have worked with. He really listened to my symptoms and did some at home testing to find the root causes of my problems and treated them from there. He is very understanding of my abnormal lifestyle/schedule as a college student and has created a personalized treatment plan to work with my schedule. I have felt better than I have in a long time working with Dr. Patel and am so grateful for all of the work that he has done!

I have been seeing Dr. Maura for digestive issues for the past several months and am located out of state, outside of the NYC region. If you are suffering with IBS/SIBO I would highly recommend seeing Dr. Maura. I had been suffering with IBS/SIBO for approximately 18 months before seeing Dr. Maura. I had gone through all the standard protocol for digestive issues through my PCP and then I had seen several gastroenterologists across 3 major hospital networks. I had all the digestive tests you could imagine and spent thousands of dollars even with healthcare coverage (maxing out my out of pocket max). After 2 gastroenterologists at an Ivy League hospital network told me “I just have IBS and have to live with the symptoms” I was not willing to accept this and felt I exhausted my options in the traditional medicine world. I was skeptical of naturopathic/holistic medicine because of hearsay and that the services were not covered by my insurance company. I can tell you that the money I have spent with Dr. Maura has been well worth my physical and mental well being. The testing is expensive but I can tell it has helped Dr. Maura create a treatment plan. She ordered very targeted tests through one of the labs she works with and pinpointed the issues with my gut flora. I have been on a treatment program of natural supplements for over 60 days with her and have had amazing results that I was not able to achieve through the traditional healthcare system for IBS/SIBO. Do not be discouraged as chronic gut issues seem to be extremely difficult to diagnose and treat properly. I highly recommend Dr. Maura if, like myself, you have not received the answers you are looking for through the traditional medicine system.

Virtually working Dr. Ronak Patel has been a true pleasure. In a medical community that focuses on a narrow spectrum, Dr. Patel took his time and worked on much more holistic approach to my ailments. I feel great and better than ever. Taking a proactive approach to my health has been the greatest decision.

My health was in a downward spiral for more than 2 years and I was desperate for help when I set up my appointment with Dr. Patel at Dr. Maura's office. I tried every treatment recommended to me by my primary care doctor before seeing him - upper endoscopy, PPI’s, abdominal scans with no answers. I had so many rounds of blood work done with little to no explanation. I was at the point where I was hardly eating when I had decided to try naturopathic medicine. Dr. Patel was the first doctor to help me resolve any of my gut/thyroid issues and helped to get me on a plan quickly to restore my body to a normal state with the natural help of diet and supplements. He was the first person who made me feel like there was hope. Our first virtual appointment was an hour long and we went over everything I was experiencing and how we could resolve it. I shared with him recent blood work and he gave me very thorough explanations of my labs. He recommended stool testing at our 2nd appointment and we covered all of those results in detail as well. Found out that I had H. Pylori, Sibo, and a few other issues, so we quickly reacted and resolved within a few months. It’s been a little more than a year now and I am happy to say I’ve made a lot of progress. I would recommend Dr. Patel to anyone who is struggling with gut/thyroid issues. He will help you understand the whole picture and will carefully recommend ways to resolve whatever you are experiencing health wise. All of my appointments were extremely positive and I left each one very optimistic. Such a different experience from any of my other Dr. appointments in the past.

Dr. Maura is great. I was fed up with the conventional mode of health care and wanted a doctor who really took the time to help me get to the underlying cause to some of the symptoms I was having. Dr. Maura sat and spoke with me for an hour, which was followed up with doing a comprehensive blood panel and acid test. She also gave several resources (books, articles and fellow colleagues recommendations) to further help me. After getting the results, we had another hour long conversation about all the different recommendations to heal (supplements and different therapies) I’ve been following the protocol and I’m feeling the best I’ve felt in years!
